Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
I was excited to stay at this hotel due to its fantastic location, just a quick walk to the beach and close to many attractions and restaurants. The rooms, although they initially smelled like smoke and needed an upgrade for better clarity online, were ultimately pleasant once moved. However, the unfriendly service experience, including unnecessary cash deposit requests and rudeness, was a significant disappointment. Despite being close to the beach, the noisy alley nearby was a drawback.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was perfect for the event I attended and offered easy access to Long Beach attractions. However, the rooms were in need of a facelift, had a distinct old carpet smell, and were noisy due to slamming doors and disturbances in the hallway. The dining options were minimal, and the service lacked friendliness.
The hotel had some ups and downs. While the rooms were spacious and comfortable, they were outdated and in need of repairs. The service was a mixed bag, with a helpful staff member offering a room upgrade but others lacking in friendliness and information. The location was convenient, close to attractions like the Queen Mary, but some aspects of the dining experience fell short due to limited options. Overall, there were positive and negative aspects to consider.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were perfect with new carpet, drapes, and bedspread, but I was bothered by noise coming from the alley throughout the night. The service was a bit of a letdown with some cleanliness issues and an unexpected payment request, but the location was nice and convenient with access to nearby amenities.
